We are looking for high quality customer service in a fast paced environment. English and spanish are essential. You will be helping with daily operations as a reception assistant and customer service assistant. We are looking for a person to support us in our with daily operations like checking in of our guests, providing client services to them during their stay (organizing eco-tours, transports and answering questions about the area). When not busy helping with reception duties you will be helping in the restaurant by taking orders and delivering food to customers and interacting with our clients from all around the world. You must be able to speak English and Spanish very well. We need you to have a friendly and happy disposition. You should be energetic, motivated and passionate about what you do. You need to be a team player as you will be working alongside our super happy, super friendly Colombian staff. Some of your responsibilities Include: Working with kitchen staff to communicate with the cooks about the orders of guests and specific needs of the guests. Table service and explaining our delicious dishes to the guests during the breakfast and dinner services. Helping to organize purchase lists for the house i.e. buying stuff as it runs out. Check-in/out processes i.e. registering our guests when the come and then when they leave. Arranging transport to and from the Hostel for clients. You don’t have to drive anybody around but you do need to know how to use a telephone. Organizing tours with our local guides, Talking with clients on a daily basis during meal times to make sure their stay is going well and to assist in making their stay better. Helping to set up any tours, transport, yoga classes etc. WORKER SKILLS WANTED: Administrative Assistance Email Communications Greeting / Helping Travelers (Concierge) Hostel Reception / Taking/ delivering food orders You will have many opportunities to spend time visiting nearby places like Parque Tayrona, Minca, Palomino, eco- day trips, adventures, rivers, nature hikes etc. You get to meet and greet people from all over the world and work with a great team of mostly Colombian workers. **You will need to relocate to a rural coastal area in Colombia about two hours from Santa Marta **
